Get Up 02:53
Late night situation It’s getting close to last call I don’t know who won the fight It’s hard to tell when you’ve been punching the wall Blank tape, no condition to be making a decision at all I’m on a roll, can’t stop now – Somebody just make the call Up all night I don’t know why I feel like I’m alive tonight Get up! Back seat, enjoying the ride But there’s nobody behind the wheel Little angel takes my hand and says “baby tell me how do I feel?” Up all night I don’t know why I feel like I’m alive tonight Get up! Late night, no condition to be making a decision at all I’m on a roll, can’t stop now – Somebody just make the call Up all night I don’t know why I feel like I’m alive tonight Get up!

I feel like some nights You’re here, still mine Feel light and dreamlike But the night’s gone The light steals everything I’m trying every way I can to forget about you I can’t remember how I ever lived without you You, I don’t wanna know the truth I just need to know the deal Couldn’t see it on your face Would it kill you just to say? Situations change Did you love me true? Were there things I could have said? You’re still beautiful I’m trying every way I can to forget about you I can’t remember how I ever lived without you Getting over you every single day Further from the truth Situations change Things I could have said To make you wanna stay We’re better off this way And it terrifies me I’m trying every way I can to forget about you I can’t remember how I ever lived without you

I’ve been living with you cuz it’s easy I ain’t got too many reasons To pack it in before now You been dealing with me cuz it’s crazy Can’t get free from all of the treasons Oh man, I’d’ve forgiven you before now I won’t take you with me cuz it’s crazy Now I just got too many reasons Oh babe, believe me when I say Baby I’ve been wrong before Everybody knows when it’s time to go Everybody knows it but you I can’t get the images out of my head Stored up like meat in the freezer Going bad, starting to make me sick You can’t make it better, I won’t let you I ain’t had too many reasons for going deep Or leaving you before But baby I’ve been wrong before Everybody knows when it’s time to go Everybody knows it but you

Like a fire without a light I could give you something that you needed Something to believe in Won’t be denied Late at night I could give you something that you needed Sometimes faith is so deceiving Even love is misleading But it feels all right They won’t believe you Sometimes the shame is all they see Even love is misleading Don’t stop the pain, but it’ll stop the bleeding But it feels all right Wait so long For the right kind of wrong I could give you something that you needed Something you can feel We both know what you’re needing Deep inside They won’t believe you Sometimes the shame is all they see Even love is misleading Don’t stop the pain, but it’ll stop the bleeding But it feels all right Through the night Didn’t know what love was for Until you’re crawling cross the floor Down on your hand and knees Pray to God I could give you something that you needed Something to believe in Even love is misleading Sometimes faith is so deceiving They won’t believe you Sometimes the shame is all they see Even love is misleading Don’t stop the pain, but it’ll stop the bleeding But it feels all right Through the night I could give you something that you needed Something to believe in Won’t stop the pain, but it’ll stop the bleeding

Somewhere, there’s somebody thinking ‘bout you All night, just waiting For some sign that you’re out there waiting for them All night, just waiting Sometimes, I’ll remember things that she said How I couldn’t wait and see Now it’s gonna be “Hey where the hell have you been” I can’t spend my whole life waiting But I’m gonna be here all night Just waiting I’m still waiting for The feeling that I had before All you’ve got to do is Tell me you’ve been waiting too Sometimes, I’ll remember things that we did So blind, just couldn’t wait and see Now it’s gonna be “Hey where the hell have you been” I can’t spend my whole life waiting But I’m gonna be here all night Still waiting I’m still waiting for The feeling that I had before All you’ve got to do is Tell me you’ve been waiting too I’m still here Waiting for you
